In the second matchday of Group 1 in League A of the Nations League, Turkey and Italy will face off this Monday at the Bursa Atatürk Stadyumu. The Turkish national team has been drawn into a very challenging group in this new edition of the European competition. The team, coached by Vincenzo Montella, will certainly fight until the very end to remain in League A. In their opening match, they were defeated by France (0-1). Their next match doesn’t look any easier!

A strong response is already expected from Italy. After failing to qualify for the 2026 World Cup, the Squadra Azzurra saw Roberto Mancini return as head coach. That return, however, did not help the team regain confidence for its Nations League debut. Last Friday, the Italian national team lost at home to Belgium (0-2). Gianluigi Donnarumma and his teammates are hoping to bounce back as early as Monday to avoid falling too far behind in the race to qualify for the quarterfinals.
