Toronto FC started the MLS season losing their first two matches to FC Dallas and the Vancouver Whitecaps. But then, in March and April, they went undefeated, going five games unbeaten in their last five matches—their best run in recent memory after years of struggle. The Canadian Reds are preparing to face Austin FC at BMO Field.

There are players who have revitalized the Toronto team; one of them is Hungarian Daniel Salloi, who already had MLS experience but seems to have found his place in a Toronto side for which he scored two goals and provided an assist in April. Another is forward Joshua Sargent, who arrived from Norwich City in England; more is still expected of him, but against Colorado, he showed what he is capable of, scoring a goal and providing an assist.

Austin, on the other hand, is having a tough start to the MLS season and is already considered a heavy underdog when they face Toronto on Saturday. The Green and Blacks were recently eliminated from the US Open Cup by Louisville City and have only won one MLS match. Likewise, they now face a busy schedule that will also see them traveling to opposite ends of North America.
