Taylor Fritz of the United States will take on Tomas Machac of the Czech Republic, looking to become the first American to book a spot in the quarterfinals of the 2025 US Open on Sunday.
Fritz, the runner-up of last year’s US Open Championship, is trading at -275 money favorite against Machac on DraftKings.

After a breezy first-round win over Emilio Nava of the United States 7-5 6-2 6-3, Fritz was tested in his last two matches against Lloyd Harris of South Africa 4-6 7-6(3) 6-2 6-4 and Jerome Kym of Switzerland 7-6(3) 6-7(9) 6-4 6-4. Fritz, who sports a career 66 percent win in hard-court matches, has gone 11-3 in his North American hard-court campaign.
Machac has yet to drop a set in this year’s US Open. The Czech kicked off his campaign in Flushing Meadows with a resounding 6-3 6-1 6-1 win over Luca Nardi of Italy. Machac followed it up with another three-set domination of Brazilian teen sensation Joao Fonseca 7-6(4) 6-2 6-3 and a sweep of Ugo Blanchet of France 7-5 6-3 6-1. Machac is 22-14 on the 2025 ATP season, and 14-6 on the hard court this year.

Machac, who has four career wins over top-10 opponents, isn’t going to let Fritz run away with a win for the third time.
