Brandon Nakashima has also dazzled in Montreal this past week. The American defeated Daniel Altmaier 6-2, 6-1, gutted out three-set wins over Frenchmen Titouan Droguet 4-6, 6-2, 7-5 and Arthur Rinderknech 7-5, 5-7, 7-5 and outclassed Luciano Darderi 6-2, 6-3 to book his spot in the semifinals.
The Matchup: Jodar opened as a clear-cut favorite at -240 ahead of his first showdown with Nakashima, who received a +3.5-game head start.
