Ohio State enters this game with a record of 1-0, beating Ball State in Week 1 by a score of 56-3. The Buckeyes gained nearly 700 yards on offense, while holding Ball State to under 200 yards and out of the end zone. 

The biggest performers in this game were Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin, who threw for 320 yards and three touchdowns, and wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, who had 151 yards and two touchdowns. These two players alone are likely going to cause problems for Texas and will be a key component to a Buckeyes’ win.

That said, they allowed more than 300 yards to Texas State, which is a concern heading into this matchup.
