The NFC East-leading New York Giants will host the 1-4 New Orleans Saints on Sunday. While the Giants lead their division, the Saints find themselves at the bottom of theirs.

The Saints are coming off a 23-13 loss to the undefeated Minnesota Vikings. The loss marked the 3rd in a row for the Saints and brought their average margin of loss over that stretch to 13 points per game. Their lone win of the season did come on the road against a Baltimore Ravens team that has won the rest of their games this season. The offense for the Saints has been decent, but the defense has been their biggest issue. They are allowing 30.2 points per game, which ranks them 2nd to last in the entire NFL.

The Giants are coming off a bizarre game last week. Down 27-13 early in the 4th quarter, they were able to fight their way back and send the game into overtime. As if the comeback wasn’t exciting enough, the overtime provided even more wildness. Driving inside the Washington 25-yard line, Cam Skattebo fumbled the ball with just 2 minutes remaining in the game. Washington drove right down the field, but instead of lining up for a game-winning field goal, they ran another play. With no timeouts remaining, Jayden Daniels was sacked, and time expired for a 27-27 tie.
