The Milwaukee Bucks and Indiana Pacers clash today in Game 5 of their NBA playoff series at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. With a 3-1 series lead, the Pacers are eyeing a trip to the second round for the second consecutive year — a feat they haven’t accomplished since the 2013-14 season.
Indiana comes into this matchup with momentum after thoroughly dismantling Milwaukee in Game 4, 129-103. The Bucks not only suffered a blowout loss but also lost star guard Damian Lillard to a devastating Achilles injury late in the first quarter, compounding their struggles.
Without Lillard, Milwaukee was unable to mount any real comeback. The Bucks' defense faltered badly, allowing the Pacers to shoot a scorching 60.2% from the field and knock down 18 three-pointers.

Their confidence is reflected in their shooting — the Pacers are currently boasting the third-best scoring offense in the playoffs, trailing only the Thunder and Cavaliers with an average of 113.7 points per game. Indiana’s balanced attack, with six players averaging at least 12 points in this series, continues to overwhelm a Bucks team that looks increasingly outmatched.
