The Los Angeles Clippers visit the Denver Nuggets for Game 4 of their 2025 first-round playoff matchup on April 26, Saturday, at the Ball Arena.
After a close first two games at Los Angeles, the Clippers broke away in Game 3 and dominated with a 117-83 victory. Six Clipper players scored in double digits, with Kawhi Leonard, James Harden, and Norman Powell producing at least 20 points.
Most importantly, the Clippers defense held the Nuggets to 40.3% shooting from the field, including 26.9% from the three-point line (7-26). This has been the name of the Clippers' game this season, as they own the third-best defensive rating in the league (110.3).
As for the Nuggets, they need more support for their top two players. Nikola Jokic is still averaging a triple-double stat line (26.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, 11.7 assists), while Jamal Murray is norming 22.3 points on 42.1% three-point shooting. However, Michael Porter Jr. has been non-existent as of late.
In this series, Porter is only producing 8.3 points on a lowly 33.3% shooting from three-point territory. The Nuggets need more outside shooting to contend with the Clippers' strong defense. An impressive MPJ game could tip this series to the Nuggets' favor.
