The Connecticut Sun (3-16) visit the Seattle Storm (12-8) on July 11, Friday, at the Climate Pledge Arena.
This is the third time that the Sun and the Storm will face each other this season. The Storm won the first game, but the Sun pulled off a stunning 93-83 win in their last game. Tina Charles led the charge with a double-double performance of 29 points and 11 rebounds, while three other Sun players scored in double digits.
Before their most recent win against the Storm, the Sun have actually lost 10 straight games prior. It doesn't help that Marina Mabrey is currently sitting out due to a knee injury. Mabrey is the team's leading scorer with 15.2 points, and she also has the highest assists average with 4.0.
Meanwhile, the Storm is looking to bounce back from the loss to the Sun. Prior to that game, they actually won against the Atlanta Dream and New York Liberty, two perennial contenders this season.
