Pittsburgh Steelers vs Cleveland Browns Prediction & Picks - NFL

A 5-2 battle will take place Sunday afternoon in Pittsburgh. The Steelers host the Cleveland Browns, and both teams have been surprisingly successful in the first portion of the season.

Cleveland has won 5 of their last 6 games and is coming off wins over Tennessee and Baltimore. Each win came by exactly 3 points, and the Browns have not looked like the typical Browns that would find ways to lose those types of games. Statistically, the Browns have nothing on paper that looks impressive. They are 28th in points per game and 12th in points allowed per game. While nothing stands out, they are still finding ways to win games, and it seems as if the culture of the team has finally changed in a positive way.

The Steelers are riding a 3-game winning streak after defeating the Colts, Buccaneers, and Saints. Their last loss came against this very Cleveland team back at the start of October. In that game, they tried to fight back from a 21-7 deficit late in the 1st half, but came up just short as they lost 27-24. After tying the game late in the 4th, the Browns were able to lean on Andre Szmyt to hit a game-winning 56-yard field goal. The Steelers were only able to convert on 4 of their 13 third-down attempts. Those drive-killing plays really put them behind in this previous matchup.
