The Cincinnati Bengals (2-1) will attempt to get back on track as they visit the Denver Broncos (1-2), who are coming off two close losses, on Monday at Empower Field at Mile High.
The Bengals are listed as +390 road underdogs despite winning 3 of their last 4 meetings with the Broncos.
Current Form:
The Bengals’ seven-game winning streak, which included three preseason games, came to an end after losing to the Minnesota Vikings 10-48 last week. Cincinnati was caught unprepared by the Vikings’ offensive onslaught, conceding 34 points in the first half alone before allowing two more touchdowns in the third quarter.
The Bengals, who will miss the service of their starting quarterback, Justin Burrow, for the next three months following a turf toe surgery, have no choice but to pin their hopes on their backup QB, Jake Browning. In two starts, Browning has covered 381 yards with three touchdowns and five interceptions. Denver’s two wins came against the Cleveland Browns 17-16 and the Jacksonville Jaguars 31-27.
After winning their season opener against the Tennessee Titans 20-12, the Broncos suffered back-to-back heartbreakers at the hands of the Indianapolis Colts 28-29 and Los Angeles Chargers 20-23. Denver had had the lead in those games but poor late-game executions and faulty defense led to two consecutive meltdowns.
Broncos quarterback Bo Nix has covered 535 passing yards with five touchdowns and three interceptions after three games. His quarterback rating of 39.1 ranks 28th in the NFL. Denver ranks 27th in passing yards per game (173.0) and 17th in points per game (22.7). Running back JK Dobbins, who has logged 222 yards on 41 carries with three touchdowns, has emerged as the top rusher for Denver, who averages 129 rushing yards per game (8th in the NFL).

Our Cincinnati Bengals vs Denver Broncos Prediction
The Broncos are 6-0 in their last six games at home. Although they are winless in their last five home games against the Bengals, Denver has a strong chance of ending this skid this Monday because they are facing a Cincinnati team without their Pro-Bowl quarterback Justin Burrow.
Bengals backup quarterback Jake Browning completed 19 of his 27 passes for 140 yards with one TD and two interceptions in the 10-48 beatdown at the hands of the Vikings. The Broncos’ defensive numbers against the pass (212 allowed passing yards) aren’t elite but their pass rushers can still apply immense pressure on the opposing quarterbacks as they average at least four sacks per game (3rd in the NFL).
It hasn’t been a smooth start for Bo Nix but the Broncos coaching staff, led by head coach Sean Payton, remains optimistic that their quarterback will eventually regain his potent form as the season progresses. Nix threw for 219 yards with three touchdowns and one interception in a 30-24 overtime loss to the Bengals last season. In this game, Burrow torched the Broncos with 412 yards and three touchdowns. Without him, the Bengals might not have enough firepower to outslug the Broncos this time.
Fearless Forecast: Bengals 20, Broncos 30
Our betting prediction for the Cincinnati Bengals vs. Denver Broncos: the Broncos -7.5 points
