The Boston Celtics (15-9) visit the Milwaukee Bucks (10-15) in an NBA 2025-26 game on Thursday, December 11, at the Fiserv Forum.
Milwaukee recently suffered a 124-112 defeat to the Detroit Pistons, a game where their defense never fully settled in. Detroit put seven players in double figures and repeatedly carved up the Bucks in the second half.
Kevin Porter Jr. paced the Bucks with 32 points on 7-of-9 shooting from the three-point line.
However, they played without superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, who will miss a significant amount of time due to a calf injury. According to ESPN, Giannis is expected to return on December 31, which means that he'll miss Thursday's game.
As for the Celtics, they arrive in Milwaukee riding a five-game winning streak, most recently defeating the Toronto Raptors, 121-113.
Despite missing the services of Jayson Tatum, the Celtics have built a fourth-best offensive rating (122.6). Jaylen Brown has been a revelation for them, putting up career-highs of 29.1 points and 4.9 assists.
This will be the first time that the Celtics are facing the Bucks this season. Both teams will be missing their superstar forwards, but this is still a must-watch in the Eastern Conference.
