Azamat Murzakanov (16-1-0) from Russia will take on American veteran fighter Dominick Reyes (16-5-0) in the Light Heavyweight division on Saturday at the Etihad Arena. Murzakanov joined the franchise in August 2021 before going on a seven-fight winning streak. However, “The Professional” was stopped by Paulo Costa in April this year after losing via a KO kick in Round 3. The 37-year-old will be keen to bounce back with a win in Abu Dhabi as the warm -264 betting favorite.
Dominick Reyes, on the other side of the Octagon, is a 36-year-old, popularly known as “The Devastator.” He’s a UFC veteran who joined the franchise in June 2017 and has since competed in two title matches, losing both. Reyes is in excellent form at the moment, winning four of his last five assignments. In his latest fight, he defeated Johnny Walker at UFC 327 via a split decision to bounce back from his KO defeat against Carlos Ulberg. He’s the +175 underdog against Murzakanov.
