The Atlanta Dream (12-8) visit the New York Liberty (13-6) on July 13, Sunday, at the Barclays Center.
This is the third time that the Liberty and Dream will face each other this season. They split their regular season series so far, with the Dream carving a 90-81 win in the last game. Atlanta's offense was clicking in that game, as they shot an excellent 52.9% clip from the field.
It's not surprising because offense is the Dream's best point-of-attack this season. They rank 3rd in the league in offensive rating, although they're only 8th in defensive rating. It's on the defensive end that the Dream have tons of questions to answer.
Meanwhile, the Liberty have lost three of their last five games. Despite that stretch, they still have the second-best offensive and defensive rating this season. When they're on their A-game, the defending champs are very difficult to stop.
Unfortunately for the Liberty, Jonquel Jones is still nursing an ankle injury. She's expected to sit out games until after the All-Star break. Jones is averaging 12.1 points and 9.6 rebounds this season.
As for the Dream, they don't have a name listed on their injury report.
