Best Player Props Across Tuesday and Wednesday's World Cup Fixtures
by Sam Cox
It’s been a long wait for teams in Groups I, J, K, and L. Nearing a week since the World Cup kicked off, the 16 teams occupying the last four groups are yet to get their respective campaigns underway.
Tuesday and Wednesday see eight matches take place, with 2022 runners-up France, defending champions Argentina, and Thomas Tuchel’s England all in action.
Here are some of our top soccer picks for Tuesday and Wednesday’s matches:
Michael Olise Anytime Assist (+190)
Michael Olise had 25 assists across the Champions League and Bundesliga. He was in the 99th percentile among all attacking midfielders and wingers in open-play expected assists per 90 minutes.
Consistently receiving the ball in dangerous areas and capable of putting chances on a plate for his teammates, Olise is poised for a big World Cup. Senegal cannot home in all of France’s attacking stars – Olise could be the beneficiary if the opponents are distracted by his big-name teammates.
Martin Ødegaard Anytime Assist (+200)
One of the best creators in the Premier League, Martin Ødegaard already has 18 assists to his name for Norway. It’s easy for bettors to get lured into the Erling Haaland markets for this clash with Iraq, but Ødegaard to have an assist represents superior value.
Just as is often the case with Arsenal, Norway’s attacks run through Ødegaard. He’s an incisive passer and that’s a dangerous pairing with Haaland, particularly when they’re facing a weaker opponent.
Riyad Mahrez 1+ Shot on Target (+115)
A willing shooter from distance throughout his career, Riyad Mahrez averaged 0.8 shots on target per match during the Africa Cup of Nations. Argentina are a more talented opponent than anyone Algeria faced in AFCON, but Mahrez is still going to have opportunities in transition.
All this takes to land is a speculative effort. It could be a free kick that’s easily saved. Maybe he unleashes a shot from the edge of the box that gets parried behind. A measly one shot on target is incredibly reasonable given Mahrez’s importance to Algeria’s attack and his playing style.
Marcel Sabitzer 3+ Shots (-125)
Marcel Sabitzer averaged three shots per match during Austria’s eight qualifying fixtures. In five of the eight matches, Sabitzer had three or more shots, including five each against Romania and San Marino.
Jordan, Austria’s matchday one opponents, are ranked lower than Romania. This match is expected to be one-way traffic with Austria controlling the game from start to finish. Don’t be surprised to see Sabitzer shoot frequently throughout the match.
Bruno Fernandes 1+ Goal Involvements (-135)

Bruno Fernandes has 55 goal involvements in 89 caps. He had 30 goal involvements in the 2025-26 Premier League campaign for Manchester United, including a tally of 21 assists.
The underlying metrics for Fernandes’ creativity are among the best in world football. He’s going to be on set-piece duty for Portugal, giving another avenue to land assists. This high-powered Portuguese attack should blow DR Congo away.
Elliot Anderson 2+ Fouls (-135)
Six players made more tackles than Elliot Anderson in the Premier League. He ranked just outside the top 10 in fouls per match. A mix of nervousness and excitement could lead to some poor decision-making from Anderson in his first World Cup match.
With England expected to dominate possession, there’s a good chance Anderson will be left exposed on the counter. He could be forced into some tactical fouls.
Antoine Semenyo Anytime Scorer (+215)
Antoine Semenyo has scored in three of his last four appearances. He’s only scored three international goals, but his form for Bournemouth and Manchester City is what really needs to be taken into account here.
Semenyo will be the best player on the pitch when Ghana face Panama on Wednesday. The Black Stars are rightly favored, and while their form is a bit of a concern, they should have enough to get a win behind a big performance from Semenyo.
Utkir Yusupov 4+ Saves (-130)
Uzbekistan don’t have much experience against countries of Colombia’s caliber. Defeats to Uruguay and the Netherlands might have only been by a single goal, but Uzbekistan spent the majority of the match camped inside their own half and were significantly outshot in each match.
Utkir Yusupov is in for a busy couple of hours against Colombia. Given their lack of competitive matches against top teams, the underdogs are heading into the unknown, and it’s not like their squad is blessed with years of matches in Europe’s top leagues.
Yusupov is going to be called out regularly throughout the 90 minutes, and could get up towards 10 saves if he’s on form.
