There's ATP action in Dallas this week, with the Dallas Open taking place. This is an interesting event, being played at a new venue for the first time since its inception in 2022. In this match, Japanese player Yoshihito Nishioka goes up against Brandon Nakashima. The American comes in as an early favorite, though should he really be so strongly fancied ahead of a match against an in-form Nishioka? I'm not so sure. Don't be surprised in the underdog more than holds his own on Wednesday.Yoshihito Nishioka vs Brandon Nakashima Form

Our Yoshihito Nishioka vs Brandon Nakashima Prediction
At the end of the day, this is far from a clear-cut match. Either player could quite easily win this and it wouldn't be a huge surprise. However, I really do feel that the Japanese player is being underappreciated by the early betting market, so much so that he looks a value bet to avoid a straight-set defeat. Nakashima is the higher-ranked player, but he's not been in great form of late, while Yoshihito Nishioka warmed up with two pleasing Davis Cup wins recently. Consistency isn't exactly Nishioka's strong suit, while he often struggles to close out matches against higher-ranked players, but he's definitely shown enough to suggest that he can push Nakashima and, at the very least, avoid losing in straight sets.
