Qualification for the next major world competition promises to be exciting and tight until the eighth and final day of these qualifiers, with North Macedonia, Belgium, and Wales separated by just two points. Wales, in third place and two points behind the leader, is only one point behind Belgium, its opponent today. The Welsh team won their last game with a controlled away victory in Kazakhstan (0-1), with Moore opening the scoring early on (24th minute). Craig Bellamy's men have nevertheless lost three of their last four games, including their last two against Canada (0-1) last month and England (3-0) on Thursday in friendly matches.
Belgium missed a great opportunity to take the lead in Group J on Friday, but the Red Devils were held to a draw by North Macedonia at the Planet Group Arena in Ghent (0-0) despite Rudi Garcia's side dominating the game (78% possession, 25 shots to 3). De Bruyne's teammates (4 goals) still managed their third consecutive clean sheet after their two big wins in Liechtenstein (0-6) and against Kazakhstan (6-0). Unbeaten in six games (four wins and two draws) in all competitions, the Belgian team will be keen to bounce back at Cardiff City Stadium, where they drew their last two visits in November 2021 (1-1) and June 2022 (1-1).

Our Wales vs Belgium Prediction
Belgium lost at home to leaders North Macedonia, dropping two important points in the race for qualification... There is no doubt that Rudi Garcia will be able to rally his troops to go and get the three points in Wales that would make up for this poor performance at the Planet Group Arena in Ghent. Still undefeated in these qualifiers (3 wins and 2 draws), the Red Devils are coming off two good results away from home, in North Macedonia (1-1) and Liechtenstein (0-6). Although Wales have won their last four official home games (Montenegro, Iceland, Kazakhstan, Liechtenstein), they could suffer a setback against a Belgium side that will not want to miss a second chance to take top spot in the group.
