For many WTA players, Austin, Texas is the port of call this week, where the ATX Open takes place, featuring a few big names such as Jessica Pegula. This match involves Diana Shnaider, who is the second seed. On Tuesday evening, depending on delays in other matches of course, she'll take on in-form qualifier Tatiana Prozorova, meaning that this is an all Russia showdown. 

Tatiana Prozorova may be a yongster and a qualifier, but her recent form suggests that she's very much a player on the up. Fresh off the back of an ITF tournament win in India, Prozorova has already shown a decent level of form in Austin, winning two qualifying matches in straight sets. Such efforts mean that she's well prepared and raring to go against her compatriot who is yet to test these courts in competitive action. 

Diana Shnaider is the big favorite ahead of this one, and behind Pegula, she's the second favorite to clinch the title, so it would be disappointing if she failed to get the job done here. However, we shouldn't expect the more experienced player to have it all her own way, especially as she's not been showing her best form of late.
