Austrian side SK Sturm Graz and Scottish giants Rangers will clash in a Europa League matchup on Thursday night at the Liebenauer Stadium. Sturm Graz will be hoping to maximize their home advantage and bounce back from their disappointing Matchday 1 defeat to Midtjylland. They conceded a quick own goal through Oliver Christensen before Ousmane Dialo sunk them in the 88th minute. It will be interesting to see their response at home.
Rangers, meanwhile, started their European conquest on the wrong foot with a 1-0 defeat at home to Belgian side, Genk. They were pretty toothless for much of the match, especially after Mohammed Diomande was shown a red card in the first half. However, they bounced back from that setback with a 2-1 win over Livingston in the league and will hope to carry this momentum to the continental stage. Another defeat would be disastrous.
