Tuesday's most interesting match in Madrid is perhaps the showdown between Stefanos Tsitsipas and Casper Ruud. Not that long ago, this would've been a match between two top-ten players, but at present, neither is sitting pretty in the top ten according to the ATP Rankings. There's work to be done by both in that sense, and it's probably fair to say that each player has played towards aiding their rankings in the last week or so. 

Tsitsipas has been in resurgent form in the Spanish capital, playing some high-quality clay-court tennis. When it comes to the European clay-cour seasont, we know what the Greek player has up his sleeve, and we know he's capable of doing well in Madrid, where he has previously reached the final. Casper Ruud is also a serious clay-court player. In fact, he's the man who won this event last year, so it's not too difficult to see why he's the early favorite here. However, given that both are playing well, it's easy to feel that there should be less separating the pair in the betting, which leaves us to conclude that Tsitsipas is a little generously priced.
