The Nashville Predators and San Jose Sharks will look to regain momentum in a head-to-head clash at Bridgestone Arena on Thursday night. The matchup has all the ingredients for a high-scoring affair.
Both teams recorded some impressive results at the start of the season but have lost back-to-back games before Thursday's contest. Nashville failed to match Ottawa and Vegas, while San Jose were taught a lesson by Edmonton and Boston.
Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Bruins marked the fifth time in six games this season when the Sharks have allowed three or more goals. With Macklin Celebrini leading the way, the Sharks have an exciting offense, but defensive woes hold them back.

Offensively, the Predators are also facing issues, but with Steven Stamkos in red-hot form, they are ready to go toe-to-toe with anyone in the league. After six games, Stamkos already has seven points, including five on the power play.
