Phoenix Mercury (11-4) versus Las Vegas Aces (5-7) is a Western Conference clash on Sunday night at Footprint Center. The Mercury has been red hot this season, sitting second in the West, just 2.0 games behind the Lynx. They'll want to improve their record against the Aces and add another big name to their list of casualties in 2025. They are coming off a clean sweep in their four-match road trek, including wins against the Aces and the Liberty. The Mercury means business this season.
The Aces, meanwhile, have not had the start they envisaged before the beginning of the 2025 season. They've been highly inconsistent this season, with their lack of squad depth clearly showing. The Aces are second last in bench scoring this year. Things recently got worse when they fell below the .500 mark following three straight losses against the Mercury, Lynx, and the Storm.
