Roma will be looking to continue their excellent start to the Serie A season when they host goal-shy Parma at the Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday night.
Sunday's narrow 0-1 win at Sassuolo moved Roma level on points with Napoli at the top of the table, and with a relatively soft run of upcoming fixtures over the next few weeks, Gian Piero Gasperini will be confident that his side can maintain their lofty position.
An excellent all-round defensive effort has been the backbone of Roma's strong start and their record of just three goals conceded in eight games is comfortably the best in the division. In stark contrast to that, Parma have scored a league low three goals in their first eight fixtures and have now gone almost 300 minutes without finding the net.
Parma's 0-0 draw at home to Como was Parma's second stalemate in a row and dropped them to 15th in the Serie A standings.
