I really cannot see why Rebecca Sramkova isn't a stronger favorite ahead of this clash. The Slovakian did lose in the first round at the Australian Open, but she didn't exactly have an easy task, going up against Jelena Ostapenko, so we shouldn't judge her too harshly for that early exit. This is a much more realistic assignment, one that she ought to pass without much issue.
Vendula Valdmmova isn't really used to competing at this level, while Sramkova has a very good recent record against opponents of this nature, so much so that she looks generously priced to come out on top.
