Radu Albot vs Albert Ramos Vinolas Prediction & Picks - ATP Challenger Girona, Spain Men Singles

Not only is their ATP Challenger clay-court action in South America this week, but there's also a tournament taking place in the Spanish city of Girona, where on Tuesday, Radu Albot and Albert Ramos Vinolas go head-to-head. This is quite clearly a match between seasoned veterans, both of whom are looking to squeeze a few more drops out of their tennis careers. For Albot, who is the younger of the two players, this will be a first match on clay since June of 2024, while the Romanian doesn't exactly arrive in fine form either, losing all but one of his last 11 matches. 

For Albert Ramos Vinolas, who is now far from a youngster at 37, this will be a second straight clay-court tournament in his native Spain. Last week, we saw the veteran play two matches in Murcia, where he beat Zapata Miralles in three sets, before losing in three sets to Hugo Mayot. Despite losing, that effort against the higher-ranked Mayot showed that Ramos can still very much cut it on clay.
