Chicago Sky (7-19) and Phoenix Mercury (16-10) will lock horns on Sunday night at the Wintrust Arena. The Sky are struggling to keep up with the race in the Eastern Conference, sitting in the fifth spot with a .269 winning record. They have been poor both at home and on the road this season and have managed to win only once in their 12 conference matches. Moreover, the Sky are 2-8 in the last 10 games, the worst record in the league.
Meanwhile, Phoenix Mercury have run out of steam after a blistering start to the season. They lost six of their last 10 matches, failing to close the six-game gap with the Lynx at the top of the Western Conference. This unwanted run of results also saw the Storm slash the gap to only 0.5 games in the Conference. The Mercury will play the Dream on the road on Friday night as they look to bounce back from their recent loss against Indiana.
