Seattle Seahawks vs Los Angeles Rams Prediction & Picks - NFL

The Los Angeles Rams (11-3) have already locked in a playoff spot. Now, they are looking to lock up the NFC West Division title. They can do just that with a win on Thursday night over their rival Seattle Seahawks (11-3).

In the previous meeting, the Rams jumped out to an early 14-3 lead in the 1st quarter, and despite the Seahawks continually fighting back to cut the lead to a single score on several occasions, they ultimately fell short. In fact, they had a chance to win it on a walk-off 61-yard field goal from Jason Myers, but he was unable to connect.

Since that win, the Rams have gone 3-1 with their lone loss coming to the Carolina Panthers on the road. They most recently topped the Detroit Lions in a high-scoring affair (41-34). Matthew Stafford is looking the part of a true MVP contender, and while the defense did allow 34 to Detroit, they are still 3rd in the league in points allowed.

For the Seahawks, they have been motivated since the loss to the Rams and have won 4 in-a-row. Tennessee, Minnesota, Atlanta, and Indianapolis have all fallen victim to this inspired Seahawks squad. Like the Rams, the Settle defense has been stout and sits just above the Rams in average points allowed for the season. The Rams can close out the division with a win, but if they stumble here in the rematch against the Seahawks, it will open the division to both Seattle and potentially the 49ers.
