It's Russia vs Australia at the ATP event in the Spanish capital of Madrid on Saturday. Pavel Kotov takes on the higher-ranked Jordan Thompson. Now, the Aussie is currently less fancied than his Russian opponent in the early betting, but I'd argue that the world number 33 should get a little more respect here. Sure, Kotov comes off the back of a good win against Ramos, but this is a much tougher assignment, while Thompson may have lost to Casper Ruud last time out, but losing to the world number six isn't something to be too ashamed of, and we really shouldn't dismiss him on that basis alone.
