With odds of +163, Napoli remains the betting favorite to win Serie A. This is understandable, not only because they are the reigning champions. Additionally, for the 2025/2026 season, Napoli has an even better squad than last year due to the acquisition of Kevin De Bruyne. The legendary Belgian midfielder already scored in his first Serie A match in Napoli's 2-1 victory over Sassuolo. Furthermore, Napoli continues to be managed by the highly successful manager Antonio Conte.
Napoli will face Cagliari on Matchday 2; the reigning Serie A champions are on a 13-match unbeaten run in the league and return to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona as the clear favorite to beat their opponent on Saturday.
Although Conte is without striker Lukaku due to a thigh injury, he does have a full squad brimming with talent for Saturday's match: Scotsman McTominay scored the team's first goal of the season; Conte lined up Lorenzo Lucca as the leading striker for that match, followed by the powerful midfield trio of McTominay-De Bruyne and Politano.
