CF Montreal will be looking for the win they need to stand a chance of moving off the bottom of the Eastern Conference as they welcome Charlotte FC to the Saputo Stadium. Montreal has endured a miserable season in MLS so far, winning just five games from 23. Their form heading into this match is poor, too. The CFM failed to win any of their last four games, losing two of them, including a 7-1 thrashing at the hands of Inter Miami. Charlotte, on the other hand, headed into this matchup unbeaten in five games, winning three of those. The Crown sits in 5th spot in the Eastern Conference standings and looks well set to claim a Round One qualification place.
