Miomir Kecmanovic vs Daniil Medvedev Prediction & Picks - ATP French Open

There's a disparity in quality here, there's no doubting that. Daniil Medvedev, who is clearly the better all round competitor, as the rankings quite clearly suggest, should get the job done and that's why he's a big favourite to win. However, the Russian hasn't exactly made life super easy for himself on clay of late, winning only one of his last five matches in straight sets, while we saw that he can easily dip in quality in five-set matches during his first-round win against Koepfer, who in terms of rankings at least, is of a similar quality to Kecmanovic. Such an effort suggests that although Medvedev has the game to come out on top here, this might not be the most straightforward match for the world number five. Kecmanovic also has a habit of pushing top players, going the distance with Medvedev in Rome just two weeks ago, while he also beat Casper Ruud in three sets at that tournament. At the very least, he's got the quality to once again push Medvedev, so much so that the game entering a fourth set (at least) looks a little more likely than the early odds suggest.
