The Miami Dolphins (2-6 SU, 2-6 ATS) visit the Los Angeles Rams in a game that screams trap for the home side. While Miami is basically out of the playoff race unless it catches fire in a big way, it is now playing pretty good football. The Dolphins have lost both of their past two games, but they were competitive with both Buffalo and Arizona, who are leading their divisions.
More importantly, Tua Tagovailoa stayed healthy, and when he’s on the field, Miami’s offense can move the ball. The Dolphins were the weakest offense in the NFL before his return, and they’ve put up 27 points per game since he came back. Miami will likely have to move the ball to win this game, and it has shown it can do so.

Points have been a way of life whenever the Rams take the field. Los Angeles has cashed in well on turnovers, but it gives up a lot of yards and usually a lot of points as a result. Only Las Vegas hasn’t managed to score at least 20 on the Rams, who usually are good for giving up somewhere between 20 and 26 points.
The Rams have been better than their record suggests, as no bad losses dot their schedule in terms of opponent’s record. The loss to the Cardinals was embarrassing, but Los Angeles’ worst loss of the season was at Chicago in September.
