One of Wednesday's matches at Roland Garros sees two top-50 players go up against each other. Mariano Navone played some super tennis to beat Casper Ruud to the final of the ATP event in Geneva last week, only to go down to Learner Tien in the final. That will have been a painful loss for the Argentine, but he showed no ill effects when beating Jenson Brooksby in straight sets during the first round at Roland Garros, and given that his recent form has been very good in general, he could easily get the better of the slightly higher-ranked Jakub Mensik.
Mensik hasn't been in great form of late, winning only two of his last five clay-court matches. This could easily be a very evenly matched contest if both players reach their best levels, with very little between the pair in the rankings, but Mariano Navone would absolutely be worthy of narrow favoritism here, so while he's a slight outsider, the Argentine represents a slice of the value cake.
