Hoping to refind the form that saw her reach the semi final of the French Open back in 2021, Maria Sakkari will be up against Maja Chwalinska on Saturday. A quick look at the rankings, and you'd think that the Greek player has a big chance here, but she's not made the fourth round in any of her last four attempts at Roland Garros, while she has not shown the same level of form as her up-and-coming opponent.
In all honesty, it would be a real shame if the Polish player followed up her excellent win over Elise Mertens by going out to Maria Sakkari, who has not looked overly fluent at Roland Garros so far. At odds of -120, it's well worth betting against that eventuality. Chwalinska has shown more than enough quality to suggest that she can keep her excellent run going for a little longer.
