Following the crazy festive period, where the games came thick and fast, there was no EPL action last weekend. Early on Saturday, it’s back with a bang as Man United and Man City clash at Old Trafford.
Still without a permanent manager following the departure of Ruben Amorim, the Red Devils will be hoping to defeat their city rivals in front of a home crowd, but they’ll need to improve on recent efforts if they’re to do that. They’ll also need to do an awful lot better than they did when the teams met earlier in the campaign, with United losing by three goals to zero on that occasion.
The visitors will arrive at Old Trafford following what was a pleasing win away to Newcastle in the EFL Cup semi-final first leg during the week. Can Guardiola’s men continue to build momentum by securing what would be a third straight win?
