The last game to kick off in the EPL on Sunday is a big one. It’s Man City vs Chelsea. Fresh from dismissing Enzo Maresca, the Blues have the less-than-simple task of traveling to Etihad Stadium, where they’ll be up against a City team that has now gone nine games without tasting defeat. Despite failing to beat Sunderland in the week, Pep Guardiola’s men come into this game in strong form and should thus be confident.
Under the temporary stewardship of Calum McFarlane, the Blues will be hoping to pick up a positive result, which would set them up nicely for what appears to be the soon-to-begin Liam Rosenior era. The English coach, who is generally thought of as one of the brightest managerial prospects, has been in charge of Ligue 1 Strasbourg since 2024.
