Luciano Darderi vs Sumit Nagal Prediction & Picks - ATP Challenger Naples, Italy Men Singles

The ATP/WTA action in Miami is getting most of the attention right now, but there are also a couple of interesting Challenger events taking place, especially in Italy, where on Thursday, Luciano Darderi and Sumit Nagal are set to clash at the tournament in Naples. On home soil, Italian Darderi will be looking to pick up another tournament win following his clay-court success in Perugia back in 2024. The man now ranked 61st in the world comes into this match off the back of a straight-set win in the first round and will likely be looking to secure a similar result here. After all, this is a player who is very strong when it comes to playing on clay courts in this part of the world. 

For Sumit Nagal, this appears to be something of an uphill task. The Indian has struggled for consistency since switching back to the clay, while his recent record against higher-ranked players doesn't exactly suggest that he'll make life overly tough for Darderi, who beat Nagal in straight sets when the pair met last year.
