Am I saying the Lorenzo Sonego will win this match? Absolutely not. What I am saying is that he deserves more respect and thus goes down as a value bet. It really is that simple. Sure, Musetti is the world number five and when he's on it, he's tricky to face. However, he dropped a set against a lower-ranked player before that lower-ranked player retired during the first round, and he wasn't looking at his best.
In contrast, Sonego won with serious authority, beating a decent player in straight sets. Such form tells me that he can really make life tough for Musetti here, and if the world number five isn't at his best, then this could easily go the way of the man who is currently ranked as the world number 40.
