Juan Manuel Cerundolo vs Casper Ruud Prediction & Picks - ATP Swiss Open Gstaad

On Friday, in Gstaad, Switzerland, we have a very interesting quarter-final between Juan Manuel Cerundolo and Casper Ruud. This is particularly interesting because both players have thrived in Gstaad in previous years. Ruud won this event in 2021 and 2022, while Cerundolo reached the final in 2025. Adding a further layer of intrigue is the fact that Cerundolo beat Ruud on his way to the final a year ago. 

On the strength of his win against Ruud in Gstaad last season, coupled with the fact that he's clearly in good form, the Argentine may not be getting the respect that he deserves in the early betting. After all, it's not as if his Norwegian opponent has been at his best lately, losing three of his last four matches on all surfaces, needing three sets to overcome a much lower-ranked player during the first round. All in all, Cerundolo is worth betting on to, at the least, avoid a straight-set defeat here.
