Alexander Bublik of Kazakhstan will shoot for his second ATP Main Tour title this year against the upset-minded Juan Manuel Cerundolo of Argentina in the final of the 2025 Gstaad Open.
Bublik punched his ticket to the men’s singles final at Gstaad after posting another sweep against Arthur Casaux of France 6-1 7-5. Bublik held 100 percent of his serves and broke Casaux three times to secure his third straight-set win in the tournament. The Kazakh had also disposed his two previous opponents in similar fashion, topping Alexander Shevchenko 6-2 6-3 and Francisco Comesana 6-4 6-3.
Cerundolo earned his spot in the final of the 2025 Gstaad Open after surviving a battery of three-set matches and a tough straight-set victory Ignacio Buse 6-3 6-3. Cerundolo knocked over three prominent names in the first three rounds, eliminating Jan-Lennard Struff 6-3 3-6 6-3, David Goffin 5-7 6-4 6-1, and Casper Ruud 6-2 1-6 6-3. Cerundolo is 37-16 on clay in the season.
