The ATP event in Miami continues on Thursday and we once again have a whole host of matches to get bettors interested. One particular match that I've got my eye on is the one between Joao Fonseca and Learner Tien. These two will be meeting for the second time since ate December 2024 having met twice at the Next Gen Finals in Jeddah, where the Brazilian came out on top not once but twice.
It's been quite a ride for youngster Joao Fonseca, who is rapidly working his way up the rankings and may well soon by one of the top-ranking players. He comes into this tournament having won a hard-court event in Phoenix last week, beating the likes of Jan-Lennard Struff, Pavel Kotov and Alexander Bublik to secure the title. He'll now be looking to shift through the gears by going deep at this more prestigious tournament. Learner Tien is also an up-and-comer, and he too is improving at quite a speedy rate. However, he's not been in the best form recently, which is a problem given that he's facing a player that is likely to be full of confidence.
