Jessica Pegula vs Iva Jovic Prediction & Picks - WTA Charleston Open

We've reached the semi-finals of the WTA event in Charleston, and on Saturday, we have an all American affair, with Jessica Pegula taking on Iva Jovic. This is the world number five against the world number 16, so we should see some high-quality play. Naturally, as the higher-ranked and more experienced player, who won this event a year ago, Pegula is the big favorite here, but I'd argue that she's being a little too supported by the early market. 

Iva Jovic is a serious player, a player who shows no fear, despite being only 18-years-old. She's quickly risen up the rankings, and is well worthy of her position as a top-20 player. To be honest, it won't be long before she joins Pegula in the top ten. She's looked in hot form this week, clearly enjoying the conditions in Charleston, winning all three of her matches in straight sets. With Pegula not quite showing her best form, I really wouldn't be surprised if the youngster made a real go of this, and that's exactly what I'm betting on her to do.
