As the grass-court season starts to wind up, there's more action coming our way from London on Thursday, when at Queen's Club, Jaqueline Cristian takes on Katie Boulter. The British player may be ranked below her opponent, but we shouldn't pay too much attention to this fact. Why? Well, for starters, when the pair met earlier in the year, Boulter came out on top, while she's won each of her last two matches against the Romanian, who is anything but a consistent grass performer. 

To be honest, Cristian struggles to be anywhere near her best on grass courts, while Boulter arguably plays her best tennis on this surface. Sure, the Romanian beat an out-of-form Qinwen Zheng during the first round, but this is harder, and her overall grass-court form does not suggest that this is a test that she can pass. Boulter is pretty good on British grass-courts, so she's worth betting on to get the job done.
