The Indiana Pacers (18-59, 7-32 Away) will try to win just their eighth road win of the season Sunday when they visit the Cavaliers in Cleveland at Rocket Arena. Tip-off for this Eastern Conference battle is scheduled for 6 p.m. EST with coverage provided by NBA League Pass.
Cleveland has secured a playoff spot, but is in the No. 4 seed, and could still move up to No. 3 (1.5 games back) or move back to No. 5 (3.5 games ahead). Indiana has long been out of contention, but has surprised fans a few times this season. The Pacers had won two in a row in explosive fashion (135-118 vs. Miami and 145-126 vs. Chicago) before falling to Charlotte on Friday, 129-108. Defensively, they have struggled all season long but have allowed 128 points per game over their last ten while scoring 123 points per game, good enough for fifth-best in that span.
As for the Cavaliers, Cleveland is coming off a 118-11 win over the Golden State Warriors in San Francisco on Thursday. It was their third in their last four games and seventh in their last ten. They’ve averaged 120+ over their last ten while allowing 115.2.
