Houston pushed their winning streak to 11 games after blasting the Utah Utes, 70-36, on January 22. Milos Ulsan and LJ Cryer combined for 27 points to fuel the Cougars’ offense. However, it was once again on the defensive end of the floor where Houston made the big difference. Houston’s swarming defense limited Utah to 36 points on 30.2 percent field goal shooting. The Cougars are the only unbeaten team in the Big 12 with a 7-0 slate.
