Meanwhile, Dimitrov is sliding in the opposite direction, dropping to 45th (from a high of 3).
The Bulgarian competitor has previously played well in January's Grand Slam, reaching the semis back in 2017, while he also reached the quarters in 2014, 2018 and 2021.
