At the ATP event in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro, otherwise known as the Rio Open, there's a very interesting all South American affair taking place on Wednesday, during the fairly early hours of the morning for stateside viewers/bettors. 

Francisco Comesana comes into this match having shown some quite decent clay-court form of late, posting a decent effort against a top South American clay-court player in defeat last week, before getting the job done against Brazilian opposition in his first match at this tournament. He'll now be looking to show what he can do against the higher-ranked Nicolas Jarry. 

For the Chilean, it's all about finding his feet again following that month off between exiting the Australian Open and returning in Argentina last week. He exited at the first time of asking last week, while he didn't appear to have his game in great shape when beating the lower-ranked Cerundolo in his first match at this tournament, though he came through that test and can look to improve here.
