The action at the ATP event in Indian Wells continues to come thick and fast on Saturday. We have loads more matches to get stuck into, including one between Francisco Cerundolo and Benjamin Bonzi. On the face of it, this is a good opportunity for Cerundolo, who is the higher-ranked player, to begin his time in Indian Wells with a win, but the Argentine hasn't played any competitive hard-court tennis since Janaury, while he didn't exactly look in hot form when exiting his last tournament against a lower-ranked player.
In contrast, Benjamin Bonzi is in hot form right now, and he's clearly enjoying the way the courts in Indian Wells are playing. The Frenchman looked in very good shape when beating the higher-ranked Valentin Royer in straight sets during the last round, and with that victory under his belt, he could easily cause sizable problems for his second-round opponent.

However, there's reason to believe than Cerundolo may not be at his best, while Bonzi is playing very well right now, plus it's undeniable that he's had better preparation, already playing three matches in Indian Wells.
Against a player that comes straight into this off the back of clay-court action, the French competitor is worth betting on to, at the very least, avoid a straight-set defeat.
