FC Cincinnati will attempt to bounce back from their shock 4-2 defeat in Atlanta, when they take on struggling FC Dallas at TQL Stadium on Wednesday night. Despite that loss, Cincy have won seven of their last ten MLS fixtures, a run that has taken them up to second place in the Eastern Conference, just one point behind the table topping Philadelphia Union.
Dallas have endured a tough MLS campaign so far, and their 1-0 weekend defeat to the Seattle Sounders means that they have picked up just one point from their last four fixtures. Finding the net has been a huge problem for Eric Quill's side. Since beating Inter Miami 4-3 in April, Dallas have scored just one goal in their subsequent four MLS games. Unless Quill can find a solution to Dallas's goalscoring issues, it is hard to see them mounting a serious playoff challenge.
