Late on Wednesday evening, there's an interesting clash due to happen in Cincinnati, where Eva Lys is the early favorite to defeat Anna Blinkova. The question is has the early market called this one correctly? The German is the higher-ranked player, but there's not a huge gap in that respect, while it is the Russian who comes into this match off the back of the more convincing effort last time out.
If we really think about it, Anna Blinkova could (and really should) be priced shorter ahead of this match. She looked in decent form when defeating Dominika Salkova in her first match at this event, while she's played more recent hard-court tennis than Lys, who doesn't exactly have the most appealing record on this surface. The German has lost four of her last five hard-court matches, as well as five of her last seven.

If we factor in that the Russian is likely further along in terms of hard-court progression following the grass-court season, then it's not overly difficult to conclude that she should be available at slightly shorter odds than +125.
For our money, anything above +105 offers a slice of the value cake.
